Cebu city - Philippines

Mabuhay!

Our last day in the Philippines we spent in Cebu city!

We wanted to see what the city is like, with all the culture, the poor people and the big malls.

It was high controversy! On the one hand the huge SM - Mall on the other hand the little very unhealthy skinny 6 year old girl knocking at my taxi window for some money.... it was very sad.....

Anyway, we started our journey at a SM - Mall, because you can store your luggage in there. So we asked a taxi driver to drive us from sightseeing attraction to the next one. He agreed and in the end he wanted to have more money... Anyway, we were prepared kkk

We started with the Malegan cross, which was build after the spanish people colonized the philippines and gave them the church...

Next stop (right next to the cross) was the "Basilica minor de Santo Nino" Which was so beautiful. There was a fountain open air next to some palms and holder for candles.... Of course I lighted one....

The Basilika itself was very nice! it looked like an old church in spain.... so surprising....

Our next stop was the "Fort San Pedro"! Which was really amazing!

This day really felt like holidays in spain! So crazy...

Haha, in contrast to the first three attractions we started to the one and only taoist temple in Cebu!

He looked pretty modern and new... so not really special in my eyes... but if you are in Cebu it is a visit worth....kkkk
Last stop was the Monument of Lapu-Lapu! Was a cute park with some statues and cool buildings.... but a little bit outside of the city.... so if you're not interested in parks.... stop the taxi driver before he wanna go there....

After all this sightseeing we said goodbye to the philippines and started our trip to Singapore! (After paying a travel fee for the philippines....kkkk
